Membership

El Halev is a non profit organization promoting women in the martial arts throughout Israel. By becoming a member you can help fulfill our goal. In addition, you will receive the following benefits:

  • Up to a 50% discount on all of our events, conventions, courses and lessons.
  • Personal insurance of up to 50,000 shekels at El Halev events.
  • The right to vote and to be elected for the organizations committee, allowing you a part in the decision making for the organization.
  • Any martial art school that at least 10 of its students are members of El HaLev has the right to buy equipment with the help of the organization once a year.
  • The option of receiving financial help in organizing any type of event that has to do with martial arts or self defense.
  • Financial assistance with overseas competitions.
  • A quarterly news letter.

Becoming a member is a very simple process. All you have to do is fill out the below Membership form and send us 250 shekels.

Friends of El Halev

Friends of El Halev is an organization open to both women and men who identify with the principles and goals of our organization and are interested in supporting us without holding official decision-making and policy-setting positions in the organization (as opposed to members of the organization). Friends of El Halev are entiitled to several financial benefits that the organization gives to its members. A two-year friend of El Halev membership costs NIS 200.

Benefits include:

  • Discounts for courses, events and seminars in the same amount as those available to members of El Halev
  • A 40% discount for the use of space at El Halev branches for classes and private seminars
  • Special rates for the use of our health club facilities in Talpiot (jacuzzi, sauna, workout room, etc.)
  • Assistance for activities that promote the participation of women in Israel in the martial arts and self-defense
