| Special Training |
 During the month of December, El Halev will be celebrating 12 years since its first Special Training event, which actually marked the beginnings of the organization. A delegation of top instructors from the United States and Europe will be arriving to support El Halev and its work in Israel.
During their visit there will be a big Happening in Jerusalem where there will be a number of classes given simultaneously all for different levels and open to everyone. Another marital arts and self defense Happening will be given in the north for women, teens and children. One of the highlights of this cross-Israel event this special trip will be expressed by contributing, sharing and empowerment. As part of the "Special Training – Bat Mitzvah Program" we have chosen to celebrate in a way that best corresponds with our vision. We have chosen to show our support and encouragement through running self defense courses and life skills workshops for women and children who are less fortunate. Unfortunately, these women, children and seniors are at greater risk, but most do not have the financial ability to pay for self defense courses to acquire the basic tools to protect themselves. El Halev instructors will be travelling with the instructors from abroad and spreading out in different locations across the country. |
