Martial Arts and Personal Safety camp for Girls

This summer, as in the past, El Halev will be conducting a Martial Arts and Personal Safety camp for girls aged 7-12.

The camp will introduce the girls to a wide variety of martial arts, including, but not limited to: Capoeira, Taekwondo, Karate, Judo, Yoga. All activities are designed with girls ages and abilities in mind. In addition, the girls will take part in a personal safety workshop, in which they will learn how to reinforce personal boundaries, distinguish between strangersand friends, strengthen their own self-image, and more.

The camp distinguishes itself from other summer programs for girls due to its integration of the rich and wondrous world of martial arts with creative and fun activities such as arts and crafts, cooking and more- all in a warm, supportive, inclusive environment.

The camp counselors are members of El Halev's instructors staff and are all professional and experienced instructors.

The camp will take place between the following dates: July 3^th- July 21^nd, 2011 (excluding Fridays)
